"Mad Men" style....

This month we're looking towards clearing out the wardrobe of those heavy winter garments and finding those little gems you can wear in warmer weather time and time again. Spring is definitely in the air and I for one am looking forward to getting out the Spring collection.
Floaty florals,block colours,1950's clinched waist and metallics are trending right now.
One of my favourite key looks is the 1950's one.
It's pretty easy finding those key,classic pieces and a great way to introduce your own take on fashion is by wearing one off Vintage frocks. Of course looking for original vintage dresses can be difficult but we do get a nice selection coming into the Beautiful Attire boutique!
As a fan of all things 1950'5/60's Americana we're in love with the Mad Men style silhouette and of course Joan Harris comes to mind. We can see her in her this pretty cobalt silk number in the offices of Sterling Cooper. Sexy,feminine and professional just like Joan!

Love Easy Valentine's Fair....

They're back! After last Christmas's Weekend Craft Emporium success - they had over 1500 visitors to the event - the Craft Guerrilla gang are back with a smoochie,coochie Valentine's Fair!
The Love Easy is the last big event at the William Morris Gallery before the refurb so here's your chance to buy a great gift for your sweetie pie or even just to say "we love you William Morris!" as all door proceeds,Tombola and a percentage of the stall rental fee go directly to the gallery. It's a LOVE EASY fund raiser!!!
£2 entry entitles you to a complimentary drink with every ticket at the pop up Speak Easy bar. Peach Bellini cocktails will be served in fine china tea cups and the lovely Shellac Sisters will be cranking up some tunes on their gramophones.
It really is the best place to get all lovey dovey for Valentines!

new year new direction!

The new year brings all kinds of resolutions,new energy,new dynamics etc. and so Beautiful Interiors is ready to blossom into something "more then just a local gift shop"!
So far we've had a ball offering our shoppers some pretty great and unusual stuff but for 2011 we have plans to make things even better.
We're going back to the beginning and we're slowly returning to being primarily a gallery and a gift shop showcasing some mainstream items but more and more hand made Design Maker items.
Plus we've added a POP UP shop where guest designer makers come in and have their very own area selling their goods directly to the public.
It's all very exciting and we'll be adding more events and layers to the shop through out the year!
We hope you'll like this new direction and continue to shop with us!

Christmas shop hours...

We'll be open on Christmas eve from 10 am to 4.30 pm.
CLOSED 25th, 26th, 27th and the 28th.
Open Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th of December (From noon to 6pm)
then close for a short break until the Friday 7th of January
when we come back and toast the new year all bright eyed and bushy tailed!!!
